Nodi Swamy Navirodu Heege was an Indian film directed and starring filmmaker Shankar Nag, known for directing the Malgudi Days TV series. He has others like Master Manjunath ("Chintoo") and Ramesh Bhat accompanying him.
It is a simple film with simple advice being given by Mysoor Matha (Shankar Nag). Nagesh (Ramesh Bhat) and Jaya (Arundhati Nag) are a couple who are always fighting with each other. Shankar Nag then tells the story of his elder brother Ananth Nag. He was a singer who fell in love with Aparna (Laxmi). But due to Aparna's death Ananth Nag goes mad. Thus Shankar Nag tells us a simple advice to live lovingly with everyone.
The music was composed by noted composer G. K. Venkatesh. The title song became a chartbuster. Master singer Bhimsen Joshi sang again in this film on insistence of G. K. Venkatesh. His song "Bhagyada Laxmi Baramma" was the highlight of the film.
